Pastor Davis became active in church by participating in the choir, Sunday school, Junior Mission and teaching Adult Sunday School. He also administered Communion, assisted with Baptisms, led Worship Services, and served as the elder of pastoral care, which includes visiting the sick and shut-in, the incarcerated, the bereaved families, the hospitalized, and providing marriage counseling.
Pastor Davis accepted his calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on May 30, 1998, and he preached his first sermon at his home church, Macedonia M.B. Church in Oneida, AR and has been invited to preach at several churches on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Pastor Davis became a firefighter for the Biloxi Fire Department in September 1998 where he has served as a firefighter, fire inspector, fire investigator, chaplain and in 2011 he was promoted to captain.
Pastor Davis was ordained in July 2000, and was called to Amazing Grace Ministries, and since his calling, he has organized the ministries Fresh Start, weekly Bible Study, Intercessory Prayer, Point of Contact for Men, Women, Children, Youth and Mentorship.
